A trip to the moon

The possibility to reach the Moon with a space capsule in the shape of a bullet and a huge cannon to shoot it into space has been imagined by the cinema pioneer Georges Méliès. A dream come true for the audience too.

This is one of the most famous short movies in cinema history, realized by the pioneer of special effects Georges Méliès. It is part of a 13 short films programme, in order to show children the different genres and styles that already the first directors in cinema history represented.
