Synopsis

A girl named Alice and a couple of friends put on a performance, that gets disturbed by annoying neighbourhood kids. Her friends are afraid to perform with such an audience so Alice decides to tell an exciting story by herself. While she is telling her story, the film turns into an animation film with Alice as the main character.

Reason of Choice

This extra ordinary film demonstrates how Walt Disney was fascinated by the world of children, their fantasy and how this could be captured by animation. He combines life action and animation, what wasn't common in the early days of cinema. Alice is part of Film Jewels Part 1: a film compilation about cinema in the early days.
