Description
We often use expressions inspired by cinema in our everyday life. But playing comedy is not as simple as we might think. Playing comedy is... an art! Playing a role not only refers to the ability of the actor to blend into the skin and thoughts of a character. It is also a work fed by the experience and the know-how of the film director who guides its interpretation.
During the workshop, through the vision and analysis of a series of film clips, through practical exercices including improvisation, the participants will have the unique opportunity to become "somebody else", and to discover different techniques that can be used to "play" a character, using their mind as well as their boby.
FILM EDUCATION FRAMEWORK FOR EUROPE
The Framework sets out a series of outcomes to which any film literacy programme or project, be it in the formal education or informal education sector, could realistically aspire. It is not expected that any one project could deliver all of the outcomes in the Framework, but rather it is hoped that by placing the critical, creative and cultural dimensions alongside each other that it will be possible for project developers to explore issues and outcomes beyond their own current practice.
