Description
During the 1920s, fearless filmmakers widen the field of their experiments to one of the artistic movements among the most importants of the XXth century: the surrealism. The workshop The cinema, a conscious dream will give you a deep insight of the avant-garde with Charles Dekeukeleire's Boxing match and The Pearl of Henri d' Ursel. It is divided in two parts: the first one devoted to the screening of the films that will be put into context and discussed with the students. The second one during which the participants will have the opportunity to make their own avant-garde film !

FILM EDUCATION FRAMEWORK FOR EUROPE
The Framework sets out a series of outcomes to which any film literacy programme or project, be it in the formal education or informal education sector, could realistically aspire.
